Public Delivery Service Temporarily on Hold

Thank you all so much for your support during this difficult time – it’s really appreciated! We have been overwhelmed by the response received to our public delivery service. We are running with a very scaled down team and are working tirelessly to keep up with demand. In order for us to be able to fulfil our existing orders we will be temporarily suspending new orders, but please fear not, we will resume our service after the Easter weekend on Wednesday 15th. Thank you so much for bearing with us – we will be back soon! The HG Team

Last How Green Public Open weekend for 2019

Roll up, roll up folks! Take this opportunity to visit a strictly trade only nursery and growers to the Chelsea Flower Show. We are welcoming all on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September – including little ones and well behaved doggies. Join us to purchase some of our beautiful plants and eat homemade cake and drink tea in our gorgeous nursery garden. We only open three times a year and this is your final chance to come and visit us in 2019! September is a great time to plant, not only for late season colour for this year but for enhancing the garden for next year. The ground will be warm, encouraging plants to develop healthy root systems before the onset of Winter. Feel free to bring some clear skies and sunshine too please!

Ready for our Public Open Weekend Summer edition

We are open to the public again this weekend – come along, bring a friend and hopefully the sun will shine for us all!  We have a large selection of bedding plants, perennials, shrubs and herbs all being sold at prices much cheaper than garden centres so come and take advantage while you can.  PS – Did we mention that we are also selling delicious, homemade cake!

We hope our PUBLIC OPEN WEEKENDS will be back in 2022

We are a wholesale nursery, growing and supplying plants to the horticultural professions. However, we also hold a series of open weekends, three times a year, where we open to the general public. These events are usually in April, June and September.

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we were not able to hold these events in 2020/21, but instead held a limited series of pop-up events at the nursery which proved very popular. We hope they will return in some form during 2022.

We also normally host regular talks and group visits throughout the year, but again these have been put on hold for the meantime.

To keep up with the latest info on the nursery, please check our Public News page or subscribe to our Public Events Newsletter.

Thank you, from the team at How Green.
