Instagram post 2150375574999160612_2071959057 Anemone Elfin Swan - such a dainty little thing! Another new addition to the 'Swan' series. White flowers with purple backed petals - compact at around 45cm in height. Prefers a moist but well drained soil in sun or part shade. With more hybrida in the cross, this cultivar is more reliable than Wild Swan.

Instagram post 2149723723937304155_2071959057 The merits of Erigeron karvinskianus are the profusion and length of flowering. It also means that nanny won't mind missing the odd bloom!

Potting up for the Potter’s Garden at Chelsea 2014

We have been growing for gold for the DialAFlight Potter’s Garden at RHS Chelsea After growing for the Roger Platts gold medal winning garden at Chelsea last year, the stress and work involved meant we were a little reluctant to grow for Chelsea for a while! That was until our great friends Frankie and Emma from Nature Redesigned approached us about growing for their garden this year. With it being cold and wet back in December and more importantly, a cracking little plan for an Artisan garden, how could we refuse! The garden is based around an abandoned brickworks and

Chelsea 2 How Green Nursery 2!

For the second consecutive year, we here at How Green are growing for the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show! Last year, we grew for Chelsea for the first time, for local designer Roger Platts. The famous saying by British rower Steve Redgrave after winning his fifth Olympic medal has never been more apt – ‘you have my permission to shoot me if I ever step near a boat again!’ We said a similar thing last year after the very
