Final Public Open Weekend of 2019
Roll up, roll up folks! Take this opportunity to visit a strictly trade only nursery and growers to the Chelsea Flower Show.
We are welcoming all on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September – including little ones and well behaved doggies. Join us to purchase some of our beautiful plants and eat homemade cake and drink tea in our gorgeous nursery garden. We only open three times a year and this is your final chance to come and visit us in 2019!
September is a great time to plant, not only for late season colour for this year but for enhancing the garden for next year. The ground will be warm, encouraging plants to develop healthy root systems before the onset of Winter.
Feel free to bring some clear skies and sunshine too please!
See us at the Landscape Show!
We are attending the Landscape Show for the first time in Battersea Park this coming September. The event takes place on the 17th & 18th and is one of the leading trade events in the Landscaping Industry.
Showcasing from hard landscaping materials, lighting through to plant suppliers, there is everything for the garden designer under one roof. There are many trade stands showing their products and you get to meet the people behind them for information and tips.
There are also a series of seminars running throughout the day covering many interesting subjects of debate. ‘Meet the Designer’ slots with some of the industry’s most prominent designers such as Charlotte Rowe, Kate Gould & James Alexander-Sinclair offer an insight into how they got where they are now.
The best thing about all of this? – It’s FREE!!! Come and say hi!
Sorry for the lack of updates on the website lately. As ever we are really busy at the nursery, potting up, growing on, and sending out orders.
Meanwhile our web designer has been busy behind the scenes, refurbishing and improving a new look website for us, which will be launching very soon. Watch this space!
We know it’s Autumn when the hedging orders start to trickle in!
Next month Bare Root Hedging and Root Ball Hedging will be published within our weekly Availability Lists.
Are you on our mailing list to receive the Availability updates? If not, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
With Autumn drawing closer we are noticing a change in the weather and the evenings are growing shorter. A perfect plant for the darker days is the Liriope, it loves full shade and grows well in moist, well drained soil. Clump forming with evergreen leaves this Monroe White variety has spikes of white flowers which turn into black berries. Plant a few close together to form a carpet of green then sit back, grab a hot chocolate and enjoy.
