New arrivals from Australia

Welcome to our new fuzzy friends from Australia!  These amazing Tree Ferns (Dicksonia antarctica) can grow up to 15 metres (49 feet) but don’t worry, it takes a long time and most average out at 4.5m (15ft) maximum. Current stock ranges from 2ft to 6ft.  Please give us a call or email plants@howgreennursery.co.uk if you are interested in adding something special to your garden project.

As you may be aware the GDPR has new legislation coming into effect on 25th May 2018.  We store details for the purpose of sending copies of our Availability Lists and news about Open Days and other events.  We do not actively market using information collected from outside sources, our mailing list is made up of previous clients and people who have requested our details.  We are now required by Law to obtain confirmation so that these mailings can continue.

It’s the week we love to dread each year – Chelsea Flower Show delivery week! We are growing even more than ever this year. Busy bees growing things for the countdown to Chelsea Flower Show has begun

Before we know it Chelsea Flower Show will be upon us and we are growing plants for the trade stand of our good pals Chilstone for the second year running.  They were awarded the tremendous 5 Star Award last year, so we are looking to emulate that again. We’re proud to be growing for John Everiss and his amazing Artisan garden sponsored by Myeloma UK.  Hopefully we can get the result we need to thrust the charity into the Limelight.

Get Planting Now!

This year is flying by at a tremendous rate of knots! It’s the end of November & Christmas is only a whisker away! Whilst gardeners are putting their gardens to bed for the Winter, designers & landscapers go up a gear. RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2017      Chelsea here we come!   Our plants are off up to Chelsea Flower Show this week!  We’re proud to be supplying two trade stand show gardens – The David Harbour stand designed by Nic Howard of We Love Plants and the Chilstone stand designed by Allister Dempster of Sandstone Design Solutions.
