Summer Success and a Little Bit of Sunshine

Thumbs up for open weekend number two!

Last weekend saw the second installment of our series of public open days, to celebrate our 30th anniversary year as a business. Many thanks goes out to those who paid us a visit.

For once, the weather was kind to us and visitors were greeted by sunny skies and only the odd little shower! The nursery was looking as tidy as it has looked for a long while and our stock looked fresh and vibrant with all the recent rain. Even Tonto the nursery dog behaved himself this time and no car mud-flaps came to any harm!

Put in your diary the dates for our final open weekend of the year. September 15th & 16th. This will be the best time to visit, with the nursery at full capacity with stock and many new plants for 2013 can be viewed and purchased.

Here’s our Public Open Weekend perennial display! Off the back of How Green Nursery designing a 2 acre garden locally, we are now offering an ‘instant’ herbaceous border service. Contact the nursery for further details.


We hope our PUBLIC OPEN WEEKENDS will be back in 2022

We are a wholesale nursery, growing and supplying plants to the horticultural professions. However, we also hold a series of open weekends, three times a year, where we open to the general public. These events are usually in April, June and September. 

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we were not able to hold these events in 2020/21, but instead held a limited series of pop-up events at the nursery which proved very popular. We hope they will return in some form during 2022.

We also normally host regular talks and group visits throughout the year, but again these have been put on hold for the meantime.
